On the occasion of the 112 EXPO event and their own active participation in this fair event, in the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH DIRECTORATE of the MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL POLICY OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA, they say the basic responsibility of this Directorate is care about harmonizing of regulations with those of EU and ILO and, among others, support to education and work culture development within the occupational safety and health. In this respect, the occupational safety and health branch in the Republic of Serbia has been regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Law (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia ref. 101/05), bylaws and other regulations within safety and health. At the 38th International Fair 112 EXPO, the Occupational Safety and Health Directorate will continue its activities on the public awareness rising on the importance of implementation of the occupational safety and health measures at the place of work. Creation of a healthy place of work, among others, means knowledge improvement within the occupational safety and health of each individual. Thus, as they say in this Directorate, one of the central themes at the fair event within the professional side event program will be the insurance against the work injuries and professional diseases, for the damage compensation. At this seminar, EU experts from the Republic of Austria, Republic of Slovakia, Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia will transfer their knowledge and experiences how this branch is regulated in their countries. A panel discussion on the personal protection equipment and accessories and a seminar on chemicals at the place of work will be organized at the fair event, as well. The fair event is an opportunity to exchange experiences in this very important branch with social partners, labor inspectors, occupational safety and health officers and any interested individuals.
