The Corfu Mayor Visited the Fair

-The traditional friendship of Greece and Serbia has existed already since the World War I and a year ago, Belgrade and Corfu signed the Protocol of Brotherhood, in order to expand the friendship, but also the tourist and economic cooperation, said Mr. Giannis Trepeklis, the Mayor of Corfu, at Belgrade Fair.
-Greece is annually visited by about two million guests from Serbia and many tourists visit just Corfu and the monuments of Serbian tradition and history at this North Ionian island – the Serbian House, the Island of Vido and Serbian Graveyards.

The Corfu Mayor invited Serbian tourists to keep on spending their summer holidays in Greece, but also to visit Corfu during the Eastern Holiday and attend the traditional seven days long celebration of this great Christian holiday.
