The Regional Energy Efficiency Improvement

Within the Energy Fair, already on the first day, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Memorandum signatories are Mr. Avdo Rapa and Mr. Milos Bugarin, the Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia respectively.

The objective of such an agreement signing is the cooperation improvement within energy efficiency with all, both local and foreign, partners and especially neighbors. This is also a way to improve the energy efficiency in the whole region, and fast changes contribute to a step coordination in this branch with the EU legal regulations. Previous cooperation was verified by this agreement and it is still oriented to fulfillment of actual projects. Data/Images/ecen07mem01.jpg

The partners will exchange information and mutually carry out projects within the energy efficiency, which will, as expected, contribute to the improvement of the regional and sustainable development.

Mr. Tomislav Leko, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Serbia, attended the agreement signing and repeated it was the matter of an important cooperation, especially due to the fact that Serbia is the second ranking foreign trade partner of his country. He pointed out that higher forms of cooperation should be developed under such circumstances and the two countries were entering a new sphere of relations within the free trade, to which such cooperation just contributed.
